Mr. Avtar Saini was appointed as an additional director on 24th August, 2007. Mr. Saini a technology veteran works with US based technology startup companies to build, grow and operate their India operations. His long illustrious career in US coupled with business and engineering management in India and a strong technology background make him invaluable to Glodyne. Avtar Saini worked at Intel from April 1982 till January 2004. In a career spanning close to 22 years, he worked in various capacities in the area of microprocessor design and development.

Driven by a restless desire to do something different in his home country, Avtar relocated to India in 1999. He managed Intel business in the Indian subcontinent and built the engineering team from start to over 1500 engineers.


In January 2004, Avtar left Intel to work with smaller US based technology companies. He has worked with Topspin Communications of Mountain View California to build a successful engineering unit in Bangalore. Topspin Communications was acquired by Cisco Systems in May 2005.

Avtar holds a BE in Electrical Engineering from University of Bombay and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. He was awarded 7 U.S. patents for his work in microprocessor design.
